Nairobi, 25 August, 2025 / 11:46 pm (ACI Africa).
The five-year Strategic Plan that the Communication Network for Catholic Sisters (CNCS) in Kenya launched on August 23 provides for the Nairobi-headquartered entity to continue providing media services to raise funds for the entity of the Association of Sisterhoods of Kenya (AOSK), the Director of CNCS has said.
In her remarks during the CNCS 2025-2030 Strategic Plan unveiling at AOSK Chemichemi ya Uzima College in the Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi (ADN), Sr. Michelle Njeri highlighted the media services on offer as the AOSK information service that is into its second year engages social media for the evangelization mission of the Church.
“We look forward to diversifying our funding by creating income-generating media services, which we are already doing,” Sr. Michelle said.
Some of the media services that CNCS is offering, she said, include “consultancy in communication, web design for communication, graphic design, photography, video, and social media management for Congregations and organizations.”
The Kenyan-born member of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception (OSF) further said that CNCS has received requests from a section of Religious Orders in the East African nation for photography, adding that this service is “to go even for many more years to come.”
