African Catholic Activists Tell New Disney CEO to End LGBTQ “grooming” in Content

Members of CitizenGo Africa, the African branch of CitizenGo, which is the international Catholic activist organization, have asked Robert Iger, the newly appointed CEO of Disney, to prioritize family values at the entertainment company, and to stop pushing the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBTQ) agenda in content meant for children.

In a petition shared with ACI Africa on Thursday, December 1, the CitizenGo Africa activists express their joy at the “firing” of CEO Bob Chapek, who they describe as a crusader for Disney’s incorporation of LGBT ideology in its products, and express hope that the new CEO will turn the situation around for the company.

“CEO Bob Chapek, one of the main crusaders for Disney’s turn to wokeism and its incorporation of LGBT ideology in its products, has been fired and replaced by his predecessor Robert Iger, in an embarrassing fashion,” the activists say.

In their petition, the CitizenGo activists launch a rally aimed at pushing the new Disney CEO to do away with LGBTQ content, saying, “Remind Robert Iger, newly appointed CEO of Disney, he must return to the family values instead of being the ruinous factory of LGBTQ+ indoctrination that it is now.”

The activists say that Disney has, for years, chosen to become “a perverse indoctrination machine”, eager to sell the LGBTQ agenda to its audience.

“Over the last years, Disney has chosen to drift away completely from the family-friendly company it once started, becoming a perverse indoctrination machine that is a slave to the LGBTQ+ agenda,” the Catholic activists say.

The company, they say, is seeking to groom children to adopt a radical LGBTQ+ lifestyle.

They highlight various instances in which the company has openly advocated for LGBTQ in the selection of characters as well as the content, including the activists’ widely condemned lesbian kiss in one of its recent children’s films.

The CitizenGo members recall that during Chapek’s tenure, the company became embroiled in a fight with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis after it chose to advocate against the state’s Parental Rights in Education bill, which prohibits teaching gender ideology and sexual orientation in kindergarten through third-grade classrooms.

“What we can be sure of, is that Disney is in clear disarray, and it is our moment to capitalize,” they say, and add, making reference to the entertainment conglomerate’s reported financial losses, “They know we are right, and they know they have to give in, if they want to start mending their financial disaster.”

“It’s time to once again, turn up the heat, and drive this message home, loud and clear - that a continuation of the woke leftist agenda in its products will be the catalyst to Disney’s downfall,” the Catholic activists say in their petition.

According to the activists, Disney is making financial losses because it has turned a blind eye on the needs of families.

“Disney has always relied on families for the vast majority of its revenue, and their financial situation as of late reflects precisely this,” they say, and add, “Over the last years, the company has alienated the interests of families, and completely ignored the voices of parents, and instead, has sided with the LGBT lobby.”

The activists acknowledge that even with a new CEO, the fight against LGBTQ content at Disney is far from over.

According to the CitizenGo activists, the dismissal of Bob Chapek does not mean that the many other radical leftist crusaders who conspired to bring Disney to its brink, are not still operating fiercely in the company.

In their rally for support to stop “child indoctrination” at Disney, the activists appeal, “Sign your petition to Disney CEO Bob Iger, telling him to bring Disney back to what it once was - an innocent, family-oriented production, loved by everyone, and not a machine of child indoctrination nor a political muscle for the LGBT agenda.”

A petition addressed to Mr. Iger reads in part, “I am calling on Disney and Pixar to immediately end all LGBT grooming and indoctrination in their products.”

The petition further reads, “You yourself have seen the damage Disney’s woke ideology under CEO Bob Chapak has caused to the company. It is one of the main reasons for the financial disarray Disney faces today.”

“I urge you to for once and for all refrain from indoctrination in Disney’s products and bring the company back to how we once knew it - an innocent, family-friendly production, that stole the hearts of so many around the world,” the petition reads.
