Pauline Sisters Celebrate Collaboration with Kenyan Couple on Silver Jubilee

The Kenyan Pauline Nun said that in Mr and Mrs Njuguna, they have seen “the embodiment of love, compassion, and humility.”

“Your collaboration in the Pauline Family has been a source of solace, your actions a reflection of the Lord's teachings, and your presence a reminder that commitment to the divine is a living, breathing testament to the richness of life,” she said.

“As we congratulate you on this silver jubilee, we are reminded of the countless lives touched by your kindness, the encouragement found in your words, and the warmth of your fellowship. Your commitment to the Pauline family has not only shaped your own life but has created ripples of positivity and inspiration in the lives of those fortunate enough to share this path with you,” Sr. Nafula said.

“May the next twenty-five years bring even deeper revelations of the Lord's love and an abundance of joy, peace, and fulfillment. Your commitment is not just a personal achievement; it is a gift to the Pauline Family, a testament to the enduring power of faith, and a legacy that will continue to inspire other cooperators to come,” she said.

Founded in Italy in 1916 by Blessed James Alberione, APC is one of the branches among the ten institutes of the Pauline family. 

Fr. Alberione had in mind the example of the many lay people from all walks of life who cooperated with St. Paul in his mission when establishing APC.

On her part, the Delegate Superior of the Paulines in Eastern Africa, Sr. Rosemary Mwaiwa, expressed gratitude to Pauline collaborators for “contributing to the spirit of togetherness that defines our Pauline family.”

“Your blessings and good wishes are the threads that weave into the tapestry of our Pauline mission, creating a beautiful mosaic of love and encouragement,” Sr. Mwaiwa said.

She prayed that the spirit of Alberione continues to inspire lay people “to cooperate with St Paul in his mission and be united in one desire, to strive to live Jesus with all that we are -mind, will, and heart so as to share the Gospel with the people of our time.”

“May the Pauline spirit we've shared today continue to flourish, and may the memories created here be a source of inspiration for each one of us. Once again, thank you for being an integral part of this joyous celebration,” said Sr. Mwaiwa.

At the event, Valerian Kkonde, an APC from Uganda said the silver jubilee of the Njugunas as Pauline cooperators is unique and needs to be celebrated.
