“Make Christian Religious Education compulsory”: Catholic Priest in Uganda to Government

The Executive Secretary of the Commission for Education of the Uganda Episcopal Conference (UEC) has called on the government of the East African nation to make Christian Religious Education (CRE) compulsory at all secondary school levels in “church-founded schools” in the country.

Ongoing Formation Program Seeks to Help Christians "go deeper in faith”: Priest in Uganda

A Catholic Priest heading a department of the Uganda Episcopal Conference (UEC) has lauded the ongoing Spiritus Faith Formation program that has involved religious leaders and Laity in East Africa saying the initiative is expected to “help Christians go deeper in their faith”.

Be Parents to Learners, Priest in Uganda Tells Teachers as Schools Reopen after 22 Months

Schools in Uganda are receiving children who have undergone transformation during what has been described as the world’s longest schools’ closure, a Catholic Priest serving at the Uganda Episcopal Conference (UEC) has said, and made an appeal to teachers in the East African nation to “be parents” to the learners.
