The creation of Kenya’s new Diocese of Kapsabet, carved from the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret, is a blessing to the people of God in the East African nation, the Pioneer Bishop of the Diocese that Pope Leo XIV erected on July 10 has said.

Pope Leo XIV has erected the Catholic Diocese of Kapsabet as the 28th Episcopal See in Kenya, carved out from the country’s Eldoret Catholic Diocese.
