At Burial of Murdered Nigerian Priest, Archbishop Prays for “repentance, conversion"

The Archbishop of Nigeria’s Kaduna Archdiocese has, at the burial ceremony of Fr. Alphonsus Bello who was murdered May 20, invited the people of God in the West African nation to pray for  the conversion of the Priest's killers.

The devil today is manifested in the greed for material riches and love for power as demonstrated by political, religious and traditional leaders, the Archbishop of Nigeria’s Abuja Archdiocese has said, cautioning Christians against the danger of falling into temptations.

A Catholic Church in Kenya's Kisii Diocese was recently torched by some unknown individuals, a night incident that seems to have targeted the altar and pulpit, the Communications Director of the Diocese has told ACI Africa in an interview, calling upon those behind the arson attack to regret their evil act and “ask God for forgiveness.”
