Catholic Aid Agencies Join Call for Action against Hunger Crisis in the Horn of Africa

The official aid agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales (CAFOD), the Catholic Relief Services (CRS), and the German Catholic Bishops' Organization for Development Cooperation (Misereor) are on the list of 22 humanitarian and development agencies that are calling for immediate action to address the hunger crisis in the Horn of Africa countries.

Leadership of Catholic Entity Highlights Efforts in Addressing Somalia’s Drought Crisis

The leadership of the overseas development agency of the Catholic Bishops of Ireland, Trócaire, has highlighted initiatives it is undertaking to address the crisis in Somalia’s Gedo region following the warning of “a major humanitarian catastrophe” earlier this month.

Catholic Entity Facilitating Education Opportunities to Thousands of Learners in Somalia

More than 5,500 learners at primary and secondary levels in Somalia schools are benefiting from an education program, which the overseas development agency of the Catholic Bishops of Ireland, Trócaire is spearheading.

Catholic Entity Facilitates Further Studies for Youth “to protect Rwanda’s biodiversity”

The overseas development agency of the Catholic Bishops of Ireland, Trócaire, is facilitating further studies for half a dozen youth in Rwanda in view of having them take part in the protection of the country’s biodiversity.
