Salesians Empowering Hundreds of Young Refugees in Uganda with Vocational Skills

Members of the Religious Institute of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB) in Uganda are reaching out to over 600 young refugees through vocational training initiatives being realized at the Don Bosco Vocational Center, operating inside Palabek Refugee Resettlement Camp in Gulu Archdiocese.

Young refugees living at the Don Bosco Palabek Refugee Settlement have been applauded for being the first ever group to engage in the mass production of face masks, which they distribute to the most vulnerable communities in the East African country for free to contain the spread of COVID-19.
