A Catholic Bishop who was among delegates participating in just concluded fourth Plenary Assembly of the Regional Episcopal Conference of West Africa (RECOWA) has underscored the need for fraternity “at all levels” for what he termed “true peace” to be realized in West African countries.

The Cardinal in Mali has, in his Easter 2022 Message, called upon the country’s transitional government to negotiate with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) in view of lifting sanctions on the West African nation.
